Celebrated my mom's birthday here with my family earlier today. We had an amazing dinner, the food was delicious. We loved the fried sea bass and the crispy shrimp ....So flavorful and mouthwatering. Everything we ordered was good. Our waiter was friendly, patient and attentive. He made our dinner experience even more amazing. Great food Great customer service Great ambience
Our experience at Kinnara Thai was pleasant. We both ordered the Yellow Curry and we had veggie egg rolls as an appetizer as well as some Kikusui sake. The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful and I enjoyed the Buddhist decor. Service was great and the food was delicious. It's not the best Thai yellow curry we had ever had as it was a little oily rather than a creamy buttery base soup. We would definitely recommend checking them out tho :) 8.5 out of 10 for the overall experience.
Nestled in a busy retail center is delicious Thai food. I wasn't feeling adventurous, so I went with one of my usual options when dining Thai cuisine. The shrimp were plentiful and delish. My friend got the chicken skewers and curry rice. The curry rice was BOMB. Instantly wished I had gotten her meal. Needless to say the food is good. So why 4 stars?? The service is slow with a little bit of attitude when questioned where food is. And not refilling water glasses. So if you have the time to hang out, you will be fine.
A gem of a restaurant in the valley serving up delicious Thai food! Kinnara is definitely a hidden gem. Although they're tucked one of the many shopping malls that line Sherman Way in the Van Nuys area, they are a departure from the hole in the wall restaurants you'd come to expect in that area. Don't get me wrong, there are many hole in the wall restaurants that serve us delicious food but Kinnara has a nice ambiance to it and has the feel of a place you could take a date for a dinner. I came by here for lunch while waiting for my car's oil to be changed at a mechanic's around the corner. It was the first time and I was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and how good the food was. I ordered the lunch plate of chicken skewers on curry rice. I always enjoy Thai chicken satay which they do well here, but their curry rice was unexpectedly delicious! Although I don't make it to that area often, I know where I'm going to come to get a meal when I do!
If you're around I definitely recommend this Thai restaurant It's my number #1 spot. Even if it's a drive Drive out! I recommend their tai tea 1000% and the pad see ew noodles
Delicious Thai food with very attentive service. the restaurant Is very clean and nice decor. The papaya salad and garlic shrimp were tasty.
